Sanford zoo offering free admission to federal workers affected by shutdown

SANFORD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens is offering free admission to federal employees affected by the government shutdown.
The zoo is offering free single-day admission to employees, and up to three guests, through the end of the shutdown.
The offer is extended to federal employees, as well as contractors that work within the federal government.
People must show a valid federal government identification card, or badge, at the zoo's admission window to receive the offer.
