OCKLAWAHA, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A woman named Kyra, who doesn't want her last name used, says she was driving to work when someone threw a rock at her car, leaving a dent and glass all over.
Kyra is legally deaf. She and her roommate Julie haven't stopped talking about Sunday night's horrible experience.
Kyra was driving to work just after 9:00 oclock Sunday night when she was hit.
She told Fox 35 News Reporter Kelly Joyce, "I'm freaking out, my whole hand was covering my face. I got glass all over me. Everything."
She says she swerved off the road and into the grass, looked around and didn't see anyone. She called 911 in a panic, not knowing yet what happened.
Kyra showed Fox 35 News the damaged window, the dents in her car and the glass that covered her body.
She said, "I felt the glass all over me. I was crying , bawling, scared. I was shaking. I thought, oh my God, what happened?"
She wants to tell them, "It's very dangerous. People could get killed or hurt, or serious. Please don't do that."
Deputies think it was kids pulling a dangerous prank.
Kyra is mad, but says she can forgive.
