DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - A puppy rescued in Daytona Beach on a frigid morning is being adopted by an officer, reports the Daytona Beach Police.
The Daytona Beach Police tweeted on January 19th, that they found a puppy near death under a bridge on a frigid morning.
Animal control officers were said to have rescued the puppy and named it River.
Thankfully, the department announced via Twitter on February 5th, that River was being adopted by Officer Kera Cantrell of Daytona Beach's animal control team.
