Permanent westbound I-4 entrance ramp from Maitland Blvd. opens

MAITLAND, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - The Florida Department of Transportation opened its new westbound I-4 entrance ramp from eastbound Maitland Boulevard on Friday morning.

Drivers will need to use the new elevated roadway instead of the old ramp near Keller Road.

Transportation officials warn the public to drive cautiously and follow the new signage. Drivers east of Keller Road can still get on I-4 from the ramp near Lake Destiny Road.

Officials say this is its permanent configuration as the I-4 Ultimate Project continues.
