Orlando Weather Forecast PM: September 2nd, 2025

FOX 35 Storm Team Senior Meteorologist Noah Bergren is tracking rising rain and storm chances later this week.

A lingering area of low pressure off Florida’s coast is keeping conditions unsettled across the region.

What will the weather be like tonight?

What to Expect:

Scattered downpours and thunderstorms are expected through the evening and into the early overnight hours, with the highest chances near the beaches and along the I-4 corridor.

Temperatures will drop into the lower to mid-70s under clearing skies, while any remaining showers will be largely confined to the East Coast. An east-northeast breeze will continue through midweek.

What will the weather be like on Wednesday?

What to Expect:

On Wednesday, a typical onshore flow will bring more seasonable weather compared with the widespread rain seen over the past week.

Hit-or-miss afternoon storms are likely, mainly inland along the I-4 corridor, where sea breeze collisions are expected. Highs should reach around 90 degrees, near average for early September.

What will the weather be like the rest of the week?

What to Expect:

Looking ahead, another upper-level disturbance is forecast to arrive Wednesday night into Thursday, increasing storm chances to around 60% and producing more widespread showers.

The system is expected to move eastward, with drier air returning Friday into the weekend and rain chances near 50%. Into next week, a stalled boundary to the south may push north, pooling tropical moisture across Central Florida and raising the likelihood of afternoon storms while keeping temperatures near seasonal averages.
