Orlando police officers investigate man's death

The hunt is on for a killer in Orlando after a man was found fatally shot in an area of the city known as the Milk District.

Homicide investigators have been combing over a residence on East Washington Street at Graham Ave., blocking off a small apartment complex as detectives search a second-story unit.

Early Tuesday evening, Orlando police officers say they were called to the complex and discovered a man, deceased from what appears to be a gunshot wound. He was later identified as 57-year-old Kenneth Correll.

"It was pretty surprising to see that, and you know, not exactly what you expect to come home to," said a neighbor who asked not to be named.

Few details have been released, but authorities said they are still searching for a suspect.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crimeline at 800-4213-TIPS (8477).
