Officers fatally shot a man involved in a violent domestic dispute overnight in Orlando.

Shortly after 11 p.m. at the Park Central Luxury Apartments on City Street, witnesses say they heard a man and a woman arguing, so 911 was called. While on that call, a 911 operator told police that they heard a gunshot.

Upon arrival, police say they confronted the man involved in the domestic incident. That's when he pulled out a gun. The Orlando Police Department says that all four responding officers opened fire. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neighbors are waking up this morning to find out that the yelling they heard last night was more than what they thought. One neighbor, Beverly Emara, says that "it's pretty scary here. I mean, I'm very surprised but you never know. Here in Orlando. This area is the Millennia area and this is more of a posh area. But you never know, it could happen anywhere I guess."

The woman involved in the domestic incident was not shot but it is not known if she suffered any injuries.

The four officers involved are on paid administrative leave, as is standard protocol with officer-involved shootings. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is handling the case. Once the investigation is complete, they will turn over the information to the State Attorney's Office to determine if any laws or policies were violated.
