Orlando City 1 of 3 teams hosting national youth tryout

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Orlando City Soccer is inviting youth soccer players to a national Major League Soccer tryout to find top undiscovered talent.

Orlando is one of three Sueno MLS 2015 sites and will host a tryout for 14 to 18-year-old males Saturday and Sunday at Seminole County Soccer Complex in Sanford.

The event is in its ninth year. There are also open tryouts hosted by the Chicago Fire and Los Angeles Galaxy.

In each city, players will compete for one of five invitations to a weeklong trial with a youth development host club, and ultimately a May 31 trip to the five-day national final in Carson, California. The finals will include training sessions, scrimmages and an opportunity to meet some of MLS's biggest stars.

A winner will be announced on June 7.
