OCFR save kitten from storm drain

A round of applause to the firefighters who rescued a kitten from a storm drain Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at the University of Central Florida near the Chiller Plant. 

According to officials, workers at the plant heard meows coming from a storm drain and called for helped.

Shortly after, fire fighters with Orange County Fire Rescue - Engine 65, jumped into action and rescued the tiny feline who tumbled about 50 feet.

According to the department's twitter feed, with a lot of coaxing and a little squirt of water, the kitty was finally freed.
