On Tuesday, there were some big names in the National Football League (NFL) who were in Central Florida. Some even came to the Daytona International Speedway for the first time. They were kickin' it at a clinic.

Have you ever seen a football field inside the Speedway? Track officials said this was the first time football was played at DIS, since DIS hosted college football games in the 1970s.

Tuesday, high school and collegiate athletes got to kick a few footballs with NFL stars like Kansas City Chief's player, Cairo Santos.

Santos said "We get to be here, and I imagine the cars racing across the finish line. I try to soak it all in!"

Several NFL Kickers, long snappers, and punters are in town for the One-On-One Kicking clinic at Embry Riddle University.

It's all part of an elite training, and camp for kickers from high school and college to get tips from the pros. Professionals like Philadelphia Eagles player and University of Florida Grad, Caleb Sturgiss, are lending a hand. He's trying to inspire players to chase their dreams.

Sturgiss said "It takes a lot of work. It's putting in the work in the off-season, and in the season, you shine, and teams taken notice to it."

Track officials said they would like to have the event again next year.
