Mom's hilarious back-to-school photos go viral
SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - An entertaining back-to-school photo shoot of an Alabama mother and her children is resonating with families across the internet.
Like most families headed back to school, Keshia Gardner of Scottsboro, Alabama posted her photos to her Facebook page after her children went back to school last week.
In the photos, she's seen leaping in the air with joy as the children, some of them amused (one hiding his face), are standing lined up in their back-to-school clothes. "Happy 1st day of school kids. I'm gonna miss y'all 😂 Please help me share this with other parents that need a good laugh," she wrote.
The hilarious photos have been shared more than 150,000 times as of Monday. This isn't the first time the family has taken photos in this way, but it is the first time the photos have gone viral, Gardner told FOX 13.
"We do them every year," she said. "My husband takes them and he's a plumber. We just do them really quickly before we leave for school. For some reason, this one decided to go viral," Gardner said.
Last year, Gardner posted a meme with her kids lined up with the words, "School is back in session!" In that one, the kids appear unamused despite her antics.
While a few of the comments on this year's back to school photo post were negative, the vast majority share in the hilarity of the photos overall. "I love this so much," said one commenter. Another said, "I have felt this way but never had the nerve until the kids got on the bus."
