LEGOs explore the final frontier
Some of the world's smallest astronauts are exploring the final frontier aboard the International Space Station.
Friday, Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen Tweeted a photo of the LEGO man in space, floating around the International Space Station.
20 LEGO figurines were launched into space as part of a partnership between the European Space Agency and LEGO. It's all part of a project that involves students in Denmark.
The LEGOs will return to earth later this year and will be used as special prizes for activities around the space mission. However, Mogensen was set to land back on earth sometime Friday.
By the way, did you know that LEGO was Danish for ‘leg godt’, meaning ‘play well’? True story.
