Human remains found in sand dune in Flagler Co.
FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Flagler County Medical Examiner's Office says remains found north of Varn Park on Monday are, in fact, human.
Workers cleaning up the beach near North Ocean Shore Boulevard (A1A) discovered the remains in a sand dune along the beach.
Detectives and crime scene personnel, as well as the Florida Department of Law Enforcement will return to the site on Tuesday morning to look for more evidence.
