1 hurt in shooting outside Epic Theatre parking lot: Police

A fight between several people in the parking lot of a movie theater in Orlando escalated into a shooting on Monday night, according to Orlando Police. One person was shot and taken to the hospital, police said.

An argument in the parking lot of an Orlando movie theater ended in a shooting on Monday night, police said. One person was transported to the hospital with "non-critical" injuries.

Police responded to the Epic Theatres at the Lee Vista Promendade shopping complex off Hazeltine National Drive around 10:30 p.m. on Monday for reports of a shooting.

Several people were involved in some sort of argument or fight, which ended with shots being fired, police told FOX 35 in an update on Tuesday morning. 

Few additional details have been released. 

What we don't know:

Police have not released specific details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting. It's not known if anyone has been taken into custody nor whether authorities are looking for any potential suspects.
