Governor Scott kicks off Senate run with 'Let's Get to Work' rally

MELBOURNE, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Governor Rick Scott held a “Let’s Get to Work” Rally Wednesday at Classic Wood Flooring in Melbourne to highlight the kick off week of his run for U.S. Senate. 

While there, he spoke about his efforts to turn around Florida's economy.

He says that under his leaderships, taxes have been cut by more than $10 billion, businesses have created nearly 1.5 million new jobs, and record investments have been made in Florida’s education system, transportation infrastructure, and environment.
