ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - One man is dead and a gunman is on the run after five people were shot at an Orange County sports bar.
Emergency crews has spent much of Monday hosing off the parking lot of Happy Place sports bar after investigators say that five people were shot there early Monday morning.
They say that a call came into 911 around 1:33 this morning. Investigators found two people injured and said that one man was dead on arrival. The other injured victim, a security guard, was rushed to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
A few hours later though, investigators say that three more people were brought into the hospital.
Investigators say that someone at the bar produced a firearm and starting shooting. The shooter fled the scene. They are still working to discover the motive.
Investigators also say that all five victims knew each other and they believe that all the victims likely knew the suspect as well. They are still looking for a suspect description.
