Fire that killed Ocala boy ruled accidental
OCALA, Fla. (AP) - The State Fire Marshal's Office has ruled that a fire that killed a 9-year-old north Florida boy was accidental. The fire broke out in a mobile home near Ocala last March.
The Ocala Star-Banner reports the boy's mother, father, sibling and a roommate got out of the home. Firefighters found the body of James Atkinson Jr. in a bedroom. Officials could not determine the cause of the fire, but ruled it was accidental.
