FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say an alligator bit a duck hunter in South Florida.
The Sun Sentinel reports that the 50-year-old Coral Springs man was airlifted to a Fort Lauderdale hospital Friday.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue says the man had been hunting in the Holey Land Wildlife Management Area when the alligator bit him on the left thigh. The wound was not considered life-threatening.
