Deputies say road rage incident ended with stabbing

Authorities continue to search for a suspect in what is being described as a stabbing, which was the result of a road rage incident.

The victim's girlfriend, Yvette Gomez, said she received word that her boyfriend had been attacked and was heading to the hospital. Deputies said the whole thing started at E. Colonial and Semoran. Gomez said her boyfriend was on his motorcycle, and he told investigators a blue car cut him off at the intersection.  According to investigators, the suspect continued to follow the victim to a gas station.  A brief argument was followed by the stabbing. 

"He didn't even realize for a moment that he had been stabbed, until he saw blood all over him,"  Gomez said. "The stab wound missed his heart by centimeters!" 

The victim saw a deputy across the street and went for help.  He was released from the hospital and is recovering.  Now,  the Orange County Sheriff's Office has released images of the suspect and the car.
