The Orange County Sheriff's Office arrested five people over the weekend in connection with illegal ATV activity on the Florida Turnpike.

Deputies released chopper video showing a group of ATV riders using the center median to change directions and make a U-turn.

Deputies say one ATV rider clipped an oncoming car, sending the car off the roadway into construction barriers on the shoulder of the road.

In a news release, the sheriff's office wrote:

The sheriff's office is encouraging the public to call 911 if they see this type of activity.
