Deputies ID body of man found in St. Johns River

DEBARY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a man whose body was found near a private marina in DeBary, floating in the St. Johns River Friday afternoon. A man on a fishing dock at a mobile home community on South Leisure World Drive reported the discovery just after 2 p.m.

The victim has been identified as 42-year-old Walter McKinnon. McKinnon, who went by his middle name, Devon, was reported missing on Monday. His family hadn't seen him since Sunday night.  No other details were immediately released.
