DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Daytona Beach is seeing record home prices. The city just surpassed the peak from the last housing boom more than a decade ago.
The Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors says the median home sales price is just shy of $235,000. That's an 18% increase from this time last year.
Local realtors say the increase is because of the scarcity of available homes as the city continues to draw newcomers.
