Crime rate drops in Florida by 4.5%

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Governor Rick Scott says that the number of crimes in Florida dropped by 4.5% last year.

Overall, the number of crimes per resident dropped by 6%.

Nearly every major crime was down from the previous year except which increase by 4.6%.
