Conservation efforts for Shark Week at Florida Aquarium
TAMPA (FOX 13) - Swimming with sharks can be a reality at The Florida Aquarium.
Shark Week is an annual event when we can learn about the fierce lives of the underwater animal. At the Tampa-based aquarium, you can swim with sharks, and hundreds of reef fishes, a sea turtle, moray eels, sand tiger sharks and more.
Aquarium officials say you just need to bring a swimsuit, towel, your own mask (if you’d like) and they’ll provide the rest.
They also teamed up with the Mini Doughnut Factory to serve shark-themed doughnuts to help with shark conservation efforts.
