Body found in wooded area in Eustis
EUSTIS, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Authorities in Lake County are investigating the discovery of a body.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office received a call from Lake County Fire Rescue just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday in reference to the body found in a wooded area along County road 44, about a quarter of a mile west of County road 44-A in Eustis.
Someone had reported seeing a bicycle and backpack on the side of the road for the past couple of days and thought it to be suspicious. When deputies arrived, they found an unidentified man who was deceased.
Anyone who might have information about this is asked call the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
