Bear spotted in Orlando's College Park community

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A black bear caused quite a stir in College Park Monday night after climbing into a tree in a residential neighborhood. 

The bear was hanging onto a branch in a tree near the corner of Oakmont Lane and Ivanhoe Blvd for a few hours. 

As a crowd gathered around the bear, Orlando Police and Florida Fish and Wildlife responded to the neighborhood. 

An FWC officer asked people to leave the area and soon after, he told the News Station the bear came down on its own and ran off.
