DELAND, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Volusia County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a missing DeLand woman who hasn’t been seen since yesterday morning.
Wanda Betancourt-Adorno, 45, left 2139 N. Kepler Road, DeLand, around 5 a.m. Thursday. She was upset at the time and left without her cell phone. She was wearing a black tank top, jeans and a pink backpack; she’s described as a Hispanic female who’s about 5’2” tall. There’s a concern that Ms. Betancourt-Adorno has not been taking medication she needs.
Deputies and Air One are searching for Ms. Betancourt-Adorno now, and anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 386-248-1777.
