Arrest made in fatal shooting of woman

Deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office say a man, accused of killing a woman, is now in jail and charged with first-degree murder.

Felix Borbon, 21, was on the run for three days, until Wednesday.  He was wanted in the fatal shooting of Marie Guth, 29.  Guth was discovered by a passer-by unconscious along Silver Star Road on Sunday. She died two days later.

Jeff Williamson, with the  Sheriff's Office, says Bordon became emotional when questioned about Guth's death.

"I heard he was very emotional about it.  Early Sunday morning, he did shoot her," he said.

According to investigators, Guth was left outside a building for hours, during the chilly weather. They say she was an innocent victim who got in the middle of terrible a feud.

"We believe there was some sort of a beef, maybe a two-week-old beef between these mutual friends."

Deputies said Guth was never the one feuding with the others, but rather, she was trying to bring everyone together.
