A homicide case from 2014 may be solved.

Marylee Walker was arrested at her St. Cloud home on Tuesday. She is in jail in connection to the killing of Jessica Erausquin. Her body was found on the side of a Cocoa Beach road in October 2014. She was 27-years-old and a recent college graduate.

Police say that investigative leads have been exhausted until recent information was discovered that led to this arrest. Investigators say they recently identified and interviewed a former associate of Walker, who provided a statement corroborating other witness statements obtained following the incident, as well as the medical examiner’s findings, and evidence collected during the investigation.

“Since the incident date on October 16, 2014, Cocoa Beach Police, with assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), have worked tirelessly to solve this case, bring those responsible to justice, and provide much needed closure to Jessica’s family and friends," said Cocoa Beach Police Chief Scott Rosenfeld.

Walker will be extradited to Brevard County. Police are charging her with vehicular homicide.
