EATONVILLE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Four people were taken into custody on Monday evening after deputies with the Orange County Sheriff's Office said they were being questioned in alleged carjacking.
Deputies responded to a restaurant at 494 N. Semoran Boulevard in reference to a carjacking around 7 p.m. The victim, a 26-year-old woman, was seated inside her car outside the restaurant when she said two men wearing masks forcefully removed her from her car and drove away with the vehicle.
About two hours later, police in Eatonville located that stolen vehicle near the 500 Block of Lime Street. Officers stopped the car and the four occupants were detained.
The woman was not injured during the alleged carjacking, according to authorities. The investigation is ongoing.
