WINTER PARK, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - **UPDATE**
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said that three people were injured in a crash Wednesday morning involving 11 vehicles. One person suffered serious injuries, according FHP.
The crash shut down all lanes of Interstate 4 westbound near Fairbanks Avenue. Lt. Kim Montes said that a driver had lost control of their vehicle around 4:20 a.m. and hit the center wall and came to a stop in the center lane.
Other vehicles slowed down but a chain reaction occurred.
FHP is investigating.

A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 4 westbound near Fairbanks Avenue had traffic at a near standstill Wednesday morning. All lanes were blocked but have reopened.
Fox 35's Sydney Cameron reports that more than 10 cars were involved in the crash that happened before 5 a.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, this is a crash involving injuries. Several ambulances and law enforcement vehicles responded to the scene.
Several vehicles have been towed from the scene.
