1 injured after vehicle crashes into Orlando home, officials say

ORLANDO, Fla. - Officials with the Orlando Fire Department are investigating after they said a vehicle crashed into an empty home on Sunday morning.

The crash happened just after 11:30 a.m. in the 5300 block of Asterik Avenue, according to fire officials.

One person was transported to an area hospital following the crash.

Fire officials said the investigation was later turned over the Orlando Police Department.
