Rare Hyacinth Macaw rescued from tree in Florida

Shannon White reached out to FOX 35 and The 407 because she wanted to commend Alex, an employee at a Florida tree service business, for helping rescue her macaw from a 100-foot tree.  White told FOX 35 that her macaw went high in a tree where it was being attacked by hawks and other birds. Alex came out to help -- and after about 90 minutes, safely rescued from the bird. To Shannon, Alex is her hero.
