Deputies de-escalate mental health crisis without gunfire

Flagler County sheriff’s deputies safely resolved a days-long series of incidents involving a 55-year-old man in what authorities described as a severe mental health crisis, taking him into custody without gunfire after he briefly pointed what appeared to be a handgun at them.
