Investigation ongoing as 3 cats died, 16 found at DeLand motel

Nineteen cats were found abandoned, in separate rooms, of a DeLand motel. Authorities said they were notified of the incident after calls of a "rancid" smell coming from the room. While three cats died, 16 were rescued and are currently receiving care.
