Suspect to change plea in Officer David Jewell’s killing
Eduardo Machado, the man accused of shooting and killing off-duty Edgewood Police Officer David Jewell in September 2025, will be in court on Monday, where he is expected to change his plea. He was charged with first-degree murder in Officer Jewell's death and had previously pleaded not guilty to the charge.
