Sargassum seaweed piles up on Space Coast beaches

Large amounts of sargassum seaweed are washing onto beaches along Florida’s Space Coast, covering parts of Brevard County shorelines with thick, foul-smelling algae as researchers warn the problem could worsen through the summer.
