East Coast braces for Hurricane Erin impacts

Thousands are bracing for impact as Hurricane Erin is tracking northwest between the United States East Coast and Bermuda, bringing dangerous surf and life-threatening rip currents to Florida and the Carolinas through midweek. While Erin isn't expected to make U.S. landfall, conditions will worsen along the North Carolina coast by tonight.
