White House press briefing: Aug. 12, 2025

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt hosted a press briefing on Tuesday afternoon. Leavitt gave all the latest updates from the Trump administration and answered questions on a multitude of topics, President Donald Trump's upcoming meeting with Putin, the economy, immigration and Trump's move to take ahold of the Washington, D.C. police and activate the National Guard.
