UCF player sports new look at Gasparilla Bowl

There was a sea of black and gold as Knight Nation invades downtown Tampa for the Gasparilla Bowl Block Party on Thursday. “There’s a lot of excitement here. All of the band parents, cheer parents, the football players. We’re excited to be here,” UCF fan Angela McCutchen said. FOX 35 caught up with quarterback John Rhys Plumlee, who’s sporting a new look — facial hair. “My girlfriend said hey I should try a mustache. So we tried it. Shaved it this morning into a mustache and she’s not really sure what to think of it,” Plumlee said.
