UCF researchers working on new map of moon's surface
One of the dozens of research projects that UCF is a part of includes creating new maps of the moon's surface. Dr. Kerri Donaldson Hanna is a planetary scientist and assistant professor at the University of Central Florida and has been assigned to this task. Part of the Artemis mission is collecting new mineral samples from the moon. Most of the data they have been working with was collected on the moon during the Apollo missions back in the late 60s.
