FOX 35 Care Force

The FOX 35 Care Force is recognizing the incredible work of a high school college and career specialist, Ladara Royal, who is making a significant impact on his students. FOX 35?s Amanda McKenzie reports from Lake Buena Vista High School to share more.

The FOX 35 Care Force Team is saluting Zachariah Cartledge and his organization, Running 4 Heroes Inc. Zachariah started the nonprofit back in 2019 when he was 10. The mission is to honor first responders who die in the line of duty. Zachariah has run for more than 1,500 heroes. On Monday night, he will make his final mile.

The FOX 35 Care Force is saluting Habitat for Humanity for Greater Orlando and Osceola County. On Friday morning, officials symbolically broke ground with gold shovels on their annual "Home for the Holidays" build in Kissimmee.

Two friends were both diagnosed with breast cancer around the same time and went through treatment together. They shared their story with FOX 35's Amy Kaufeldt at the 2024 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.
