The legislation would require owners of dangerous dogs to secure their animals and ensure that they are microchipped, spayed or neutered. The dogs would be documented in a statewide registry, and they would have to be covered by liability insurance. Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood joins FOX 35 to talk about the bill.
