Person wounded in Secret Service-involved shooting
WASHINGTON - A person has been wounded in a shooting in Northwest D.C. that involves the Secret Service, authorities said.
According to D.C. Fire and EMS, the Secret Service requested for an ambulance to respond to the 1100 block of L Street at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for a person shot in the thigh.
The victim was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
It is unclear who the wounded person is and what their connection is to the Secret Service.
FOX 5 has reached out to the Secret Service, but have not received a response as of Tuesday night.
