I-4 eastbound lanes near Longwood reopen after being shut down due to crash involving multiple vehicles
LONGWOOD, Fla. - A crash in Seminole County blocked some eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 during the evening rush hour.
What we know:
The crash occurred just south of the State Road 434 exit in Longwood. Traffic was backed up to Maitland for several hours, authorities said.
Seven vehicles were involved in the crash which happened just before 4 p.m. with at least two people transported to a hospital.
What we don't know:
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The extent of the injuries of the two transported to a hospital are unknown.
