ORLANDO, Fla. - Hurricane Erin became the first hurricane of the 2025 atlantic season, and is forecast to become the first major hurricane – Category 3 or higher – of the season as it treks across the Atlantic. Erin is expected to continue across the Caribbean, where it's expected to quickly strengthen into a major Category 3 hurricane, possibly a Category 4 hurricane, before curving east.
