Florida Dept. of Economic Opportunity warns claimants of fake social media accounts
LAKE MARY, Fla. - The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) is warning claimants to beware of fake social media accounts.
The Florida DEO said the department will never ask you for sensitive information on social media.
The DEO only uses @FLDEO on both Twitter and Facebook.
If you come across a fake DEO account, you're asked to report it.
