Flames seen ripping through DeBary home

Flames engulf home in DeBary during cold snap

A home on Bass Lake Drive in DeBary, Florida caught fire on Saturday night, as frigid temperatures hit the region. Video showed the night sky illuminated in an orange glow due to the flames, as several firefighters worked to fight the blaze. One firefighter could be seen using a chainsaw to cut through the garage door of a neighboring home. 

DEBARY, Fla. - Flames were seen ripping through a home in DeBary on Saturday night.

The fire happened at a home in the area of Bass Lake Drive.

Deputies with the Volusia Sheriff's Office were called out to the fire around 7:26 p.m.

Video shows some of the strong winds from Saturday around Central Florida impacting the flames.

The cause of the fire is not yet clear.
