RUSKIN, Fla. - Two Hillsborough County deputies were flown by helicopter to Tampa General Hospital after being shot Thursday on West Shell Point Road in Ruskin.
A suspect was also shot during the incident and taken to a hospital for treatment.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister released a statement on Facebook saying, "Two of our deputies shot, pray for them!"
Investigators said there is no threat to public safety.
