Monique Worrell defends record as State Attorney

Florida State Attorney Monique Worrell alleged Tuesday in a news conference that she had received a phone call alerting her that her removal by Gov. Ron DeSantis was “imminent.” DeSantis has not publicly said anything. DeSantis removed Worrell in 2023. She was re-elected in 2024.
